The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1952 by Dior, Eau Fraiche is a Chypre Floral fragrance crafted by the renowned perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. This composition opens with bright citrus notes from lemon and mandarin orange, which contrast beautifully against the woody, mossy undertones of palisander rosewood and oakmoss. A touch of vanilla adds a subtle sweetness to balance the earthy complexity, making it both fresh and enduring.

How to wear it

This fragrance develops best when applied to pulse points. The citrus top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so layering it over a light moisturizer can enhance its longevity. It reads better close to skin than in the air, making it ideal for intimate settings.
