Launched in 2002 by Dior and crafted by Olivier Gillotin and Olivier Pescheux, Higher Black is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends freshness with warmth. The opening notes of mint and Amalfi lemon introduce a crisp, invigorating start, while the heart adds depth with fruity accents from peach and pear, complemented by green cypress and rosemary. The base settles into warm spices and musk, creating an enveloping finish that is both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply one generous spray on pulse points — Higher Black’s citrus and mint top notes are bright but fade within an hour. The musky base develops slowly over time, so it reads better close to skin than across a room.
