Launched in 2018 by Dior and crafted by François Demachy, Poison Girl Unexpected is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that reimagines the iconic Poison line with a fresh twist. The composition opens with vibrant citrus notes of blood orange and lemon, balanced by the spicy warmth of ginger. This energetic top note gives way to a heart of damask rose, which adds a touch of elegance and floral softness. The base is anchored by vanilla, tonka bean, hazelnut, and cashmeran, creating a cozy and enveloping finish that reads as both sweet and nutty.
Apply Poison Girl Unexpected lightly — its top notes are bright and fresh but fade within two hours. The base notes, however, develop slowly over time, so they'll carry you through the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than in a room.
