Eau Duelle by Diptyque was launched in 2010 and crafted by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, offering an intriguing duality that shifts throughout the day. The fragrance opens with a brilliant burst of juniper and pink pepper that crackles like electricity, before settling into a contemplative heart of smoky black tea and golden saffron. The base emerges as a whisper of warm ambergris and creamy vanilla, creating a composition that feels both intellectually sharp and sensually grounding.
Apply Eau Duelle with two sprays to ensure the smoky heart notes are well-balanced by the vibrant top and base. Given its moderate longevity and sillage, it's best experienced close to skin rather than filling a room.
