Launched in 2016 by Diptyque, Eau des Sens is a composition crafted by Olivier Pescheux that balances luminous citrus brightness with earthy depth. It opens with a burst of bitter orange and neroli, creating an effervescent yet refined effect. The heart softens into juniper's herbaceous whisper, grounding the brightness into something more contemplative and architectural. As it settles, angelica and patchouli emerge to anchor the composition—earthy, slightly animalic, and utterly sophisticated.
Given its moderate longevity and sillage, two sprays will allow it to develop fully on your skin. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than filling a room, so aim for pulse points and let it evolve over time.
