Launched in 2015 by Diptyque, Oud Palao Eau de Parfum is a woody-oriental fragrance that weaves together the depth of oud with warm spices and amber. Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin crafts an aroma that starts with camphor's crispness and rose's sweetness before settling into tobacco and woody notes, creating a rich blend of warmth and complexity. The composition balances the exotic charm of oud against the familiar comfort of woods and spices.
Given its strong sillage and eternal longevity, one spritz is enough. The camphor note fades quickly, so it’s best applied just before a warm setting where the rich base notes can fully bloom, such as an evening dinner.
