The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Dolce&Gabbana and crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp, Light Blue Escape to Panarea is an ode to the Mediterranean charm of Panarea. The fragrance opens with a burst of pear and bergamot, creating a fresh, fruity aroma that immediately captures attention. As it evolves, jasmine and orange blossom introduce a delicate floral heart, while tonka bean and white musk provide warmth and depth. This composition balances lightness and richness, making it a perfect embodiment of the island's sun-kissed charm.
This fragrance blooms within minutes of application, so a light spritz on pulse points is enough. The pear and bergamot top notes are fleeting, but the floral and vanilla base lingers for hours, making it ideal for daytime wear.
