The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017, Velvet Amber Skin by Dolce&Gabbana is an Oriental fragrance crafted by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. This scent opens with a vibrant blend of citruses and bergamot, which quickly gives way to the heart notes of iris, jasmine, and rose, adding a floral dimension that's both lush and warm. The base notes feature vanilla, myrrh, opoponax, and cinnamon, creating an enveloping warmth akin to the comfort of a well-worn favorite sweater.
Apply Velvet Amber Skin to pulse points, as it blooms best close to skin. The rich base notes take time to develop fully, so allow at least an hour for the full depth to emerge. Ideal for cooler evenings when its warmth feels most comforting.
