The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014, Liquid Cashmere by Donna Karan is a warm and enveloping fragrance that captures the essence of comfort and sophistication. The composition opens with the bright freshness of orange blossom and cyclamen, transitioning into a heart of lily-of-the-valley and ylang-ylang, which adds a soft floral sweetness. At its core, sandalwood, Moroccan jasmine, Indian jasmine, labdanum, musk, suede, white amber, tonka bean, and benzoin create an enveloping base that reads like a luxurious cashmere shawl wrapped around the skin.
Apply one to two sprays to pulse points. The fragrance blooms best close to skin rather than filling the room, so aim for areas like wrists and neck for maximum impact. It works well during cooler weather but can be worn year-round as a subtle touch of warmth.
