Launched in 2013 by DS&Durga, Bitter Rose, Broken Spear is a Woody Aromatic fragrance created by David Seth Moltz. This composition juxtaposes the bitter edge of rose with warm woody notes and spicy undertones, creating an intriguing contrast that evolves throughout the day. The opening with cubeb pepper and thyme adds a fresh, herbal spiciness before giving way to a more complex heart of rose and nutmeg. The base notes of larch, amber, and hot iron create a grounding warmth, reminiscent of ancient embers still glowing in the dark.
