Mahogany Kora by DS&Durga is a fragrance that captures the warmth and depth of its namesake wood. Launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumers David Seth Moltz and Kavi Moltz, this composition opens with the crisp freshness of papyrus and hibiscus before settling into the rich, nutty notes of mahogany and cashew. The heart of orange blossom adds a subtle floral touch, while nutmeg brings a spicy kick that cuts through the sweetness. Patchouli and vanilla in the base create a warm, enveloping finish. This unisex fragrance is a proof of DS&Durga's commitment to distinctive essences from around the world, handcrafted into perfumes that are both luxurious and evocative.
Apply this fragrance lightly as it has a strong presence on the skin. The patchouli base takes about an hour to fully bloom, so give it time before reapplying. It reads better close to the skin than from a distance, making it perfect for intimate settings or quiet evenings.
