2 Wood by DSQUARED2, launched in 2021 and crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp, is a composition that marries freshness with depth. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes from lemon and citron, which cut through the air like a fresh breeze on a crisp morning. This brightness transitions into a heart of pink pepper, adding a subtle spiciness that contrasts beautifully with the earthy undertones provided by haitian vetiver, cedar, and cypress. The base of silver fir, musk, and amber rounds out the scent, creating a woody warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to capture the full transition from bright citrus to woody warmth. The top notes are vibrant but dissipate within an hour, so a heavier initial application allows you to experience its evolving character throughout the day.
