The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1985 by Estée Lauder, Beautiful is a fragrance that captures the essence of femininity and elegance. Created by perfumers Sophia Grojsman, Bernard Chant, and Max Gavarry, this floral composition opens with bright citrus and green notes like galbanum and bergamot, which give way to a lush bouquet of white florals such as rose, lily, tuberose, and jasmine. The base notes of sandalwood, amber, and musk provide warmth and depth, creating an overall impression of sophistication and lasting beauty.
Apply this fragrance in layers for optimal impact, as the lush florals bloom gradually. It’s best suited for daytime wear, where its bright opening notes can be fully appreciated before transitioning into a warm base.
