Frustration by Etat Libre d'Orange is a daring and unusual composition created by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui in 2022. The fragrance opens with the rich warmth of rum and cinnamon, creating an intense and spicy atmosphere that immediately grabs your attention. As it evolves, vanilla absolute adds a sweet yet complex layer, while chestnut and bourbon vetiver bring a nutty earthiness to the mix. Labdanum and guaiacol provide depth and a slightly balsamic character, making Frustration a composition that is as intriguing as its name suggests.
Apply this fragrance in two to three sprays on pulse points for maximum impact. The rum and cinnamon opening is potent but fades within an hour, so it’s best used during cooler evenings when the warmth of the base notes can truly shine through.
