The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013, Malmaison Encore by Floris is an Oriental Spicy fragrance that blends traditional and modern elements to create a warm, enveloping scent. The composition opens with fresh spicy notes of bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, cloves, and nutmeg, which give way to a heart of rose and ylang-ylang. This floral warmth is further enhanced by the rich base notes of amber, cedar, olibanum, heliotrope, tonka bean, and vanilla, creating an overall atmosphere that is both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply Malmaison Encore to pulse points for a long-lasting warmth. The spicy top notes are bright but quickly give way to the enveloping base, so a light touch at first can be layered as needed throughout the day.

Shelagh Foyle began her career in laboratories at Yardley of London, then trained at Givaudan's perfumery school in Switzerland, and later directed perfumery creation at Robertet, where she was elected President of the British Society of Perfumers.
