Launched in 2016, Petales De Cashmere by Fragrance Du Bois is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the powdery elegance of violet with warm and spicy notes. The opening burst of mandarin orange and grapefruit gives way to a heart of jasmine and saffron, before settling into a base of musk, sandalwood, and olibanum. This composition creates a subtle tension between fresh spiciness and the enveloping warmth of woody accords, making it a fragrance that evolves gracefully throughout the day.
Two sprays are sufficient for this fragrance to develop its full character. The citrus notes announce themselves initially but quickly give way to a more complex blend of floral and woody accords that last through the day. It pairs well with light layers, making it ideal for daytime wear.
