The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Frederic Malle, Bigarade Concentrée Limited Edition is a citrus aromatic fragrance created by Jean-Claude Ellena. This limited edition version adds an intriguing layer of synesthesia, blending scent with color to create an omnisensorial experience inspired by the work of architect and glassmaker Carlos Scarpa. The composition opens with bitter orange, providing a sharp and invigorating burst that transitions into a delicate rose heart, before settling into a base of grass, cedar, and hay — evoking a vivid sense of earthy freshness.
Apply one to two sprays on pulse points — this fragrance is designed to stay close to the skin, so it's best enjoyed in intimate settings rather than filling a room. The citrus top notes are brief but striking, making way for a warm and earthy base that lasts throughout the day.
