Pivoine Suzhou by Giorgio Armani, launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumers Cecile Matton and Julie Massé, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that captures the essence of a modern floral bouquet. The composition opens with the vibrant freshness of raspberry and pink pepper, giving way to the delicate notes of peony and May rose. These florals are complemented by a warm base of musk, amber, and patchouli, creating an intricate balance between sweetness and earthiness.
Pivoine Suzhou is best applied lightly to pulse points. The vibrant top notes are fleeting but impactful, while the floral heart and warm base develop gradually over time. It's particularly suited for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
