The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015, 1001 OUDS by Goutal is a woody and spicy oriental fragrance that marries the richness of oud with warm spices and balsamic notes. The composition opens with a bold presence of agarwood (oud), which immediately sets the tone for an intense and sophisticated scent. The heart adds depth with rose and pimento, while the base layers in myrrh, guaiac wood, and birch to create a smoky, leather-like finish. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering, striking a balance that makes it suitable for both men and women.
One to two sprays are sufficient as the fragrance blooms gradually over time. It's best applied to pulse points for a warm, lasting effect that enhances its smoky, balsamic character.
