Vanille Charnelle by Goutal is a captivating Oriental Floral fragrance that was launched in 2015 and created by perfumers Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen. The composition opens with the fresh spicy notes of pepper, which cut through the sweetness of ylang-ylang and vanilla absolute, creating an intriguing tension between warmth and freshness. At its heart, tonka bean adds a powdery depth, while white musk and vetiver anchor the scent in a warm, enveloping base that feels both intimate and comforting.
Vanille Charnelle blooms slowly on the skin, so applying it just before you leave ensures that its complex layers unfold throughout the day. It pairs well with a light jacket or sweater for an added layer of warmth and depth.
