The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1985 by Annick Goutal and Henri Sorsana, Vetiver is a woody-spicy fragrance that embodies the earthy elegance of its creators. The composition opens with a bracing note of sea salt, immediately drawing you into an aromatic journey. At its heart lies Vetiver, a grounding presence that is supported by warm spices, adding a layer of complexity and depth. The base notes of tobacco, sandalwood, and tonka bean create a rich blend that feels both earthy and slightly sweet, making it a fragrance that speaks to the sophisticated wearer.

How to wear it

Apply Vetiver to pulse points for maximum impact. The sea salt top note fades quickly, so layer it with the heart and base notes by using two sprays initially. This ensures that the rich tobacco and sandalwood notes will linger throughout the day.
