Flora by Gucci Eau de Toilette launched in 2009, commissioned under creative director Frida Giannini to capture a more youthful and 'girlish' essence for the brand. This fragrance directly translates the iconic Flora print from 1966 — originally created for Princess Grace Kelly — into an olfactory experience. The composition features peony and osmanthus in its opening, leading into a heart of rose and mandarin orange before settling on a base of sandalwood, pink pepper, and patchouli. This blend of floral and fresh notes captures the spirit of Gucci's rich history while appealing to a new generation.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin. Apply it lightly at first and allow it to develop over time. The floral top notes are bright but fleeting, so they work best for daytime wear. For a more lasting effect, layer with the moisturizer or use it as an additional touch-up throughout the day.
