The story behind the bottle.
Gucci Bloom was launched in 2017 by Alberto Morillas under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele. This floral fragrance embodies a lush garden, with notes of jasmine, tuberose, and Rangoon Creeper, which changes color as it blooms. The scent marks a significant transition for Gucci’s perfume line, reflecting Michele's vision of authenticity and diversity. Its 2017 campaign, featuring Dakota Johnson, Hari Nef, and Petra Collins in a fantastical English garden, was noted by fashion press for its visual connection to the earlier aesthetic under Frida Giannini while heralding a new creative direction.
This fragrance unfolds gradually, so apply it close to skin for a more intimate experience. The base notes of Rangoon Creeper take time to bloom, making it perfect for an evening out where you want to build a lasting impression.
