Christine Nagel's Hermessence Myrrhe Eglantine, launched in 2018, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that balances the warmth of myrrh with the delicate charm of eglantine. The composition opens with a rich floral bouquet, centered around rose and eglantine, before settling into a warm, spicy base of amber and balsamic notes. This interplay creates an enveloping scent that feels both intimate and expansive.
For best effect, apply this scent to pulse points. The floral top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so allow the base notes to develop on skin for at least an hour before reapplying if needed. It's a fragrance that reads better close to the skin than in the air.
