The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel, Hermessence Oud Alezan by Hermès is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the boldness of oud with the delicate charm of rose. The top notes of rose oxide create a fresh spicy opening that quickly transitions into a heart of rose hydrolat, adding a subtle floral warmth. As it settles, the base note of oud emerges, grounding the composition in deep and rich tones. This fragrance is a proof of Hermès’s commitment to blending traditional elegance with modern sophistication.

How to wear it

For best effect, apply this fragrance to pulse points. The rose oxide top notes are fleeting but bright, so layering with the heart and base notes will ensure a lasting warmth from the rose hydrolat and oud. This scent is best experienced close to skin rather than in large sillage.
