Launched in 2000 and crafted by perfumer Sophie Labbé, Boss Woman by Hugo Boss is a Floral Fruity fragrance that embodies the modern elegance of its German heritage. The composition opens with a bright burst of mango and mandarin orange, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy and warmth. This freshness gives way to a heart of freesia and violet root, which adds both floral sweetness and earthy depth. A woody base of white cedar extract and sandalwood rounds out the fragrance, grounding it in rich, powdery notes that linger softly on the skin.
Boss Woman is best applied in two sprays. The top notes are bright and fresh but fade within a couple of hours, so it's the base that carries its warmth throughout the day. It reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for daytime wear.
