The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1997 by Hugo Boss, Hugo Woman was crafted by perfumer Ursula Wandel and is a Floral Fruity fragrance that blends freshness with subtle warmth. The scent opens with a vibrant combination of Granny Smith apple, melon, peach, and cassis, creating an immediate sense of crispness and vibrancy. This fruity top note gives way to the soft floral heart of cyclamen, lily, jasmine, and orchid, which adds a delicate and sophisticated touch. The base notes of oak moss, Virginia cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, resin, and amber provide a grounding warmth that rounds out the composition.
Apply two sprays — the fruity top notes are bright and fresh but dissipate within a couple of hours. The floral and woody base notes will last throughout the day, making this fragrance suitable for both daytime and evening wear.

From photography to Hugo WomanUrsula Wandel discovered perfumery through curiosity and a background in chemistry, initially drawn to photography before enrolling at the Givaudan perfumery school in Geneva, where she spent her first year learning around 3,000 raw materials and her second imitating well-known perfumes like a painter studying the old masters.
