Issey Miyake Pleats Please L'Elixir Edition Noël 2013, created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard in 2013, marries the elegance of floral notes with the warmth of vanilla and powdery woods. The fragrance opens with a bouquet of gardenia, heliotrope, sweet pea, and peony, which blend into a rich heart of white flowers and vanilla. As it settles, patchouli and cedar add depth and earthiness to the composition, creating an intricate balance between freshness and comfort.
Apply two sprays to ensure the full depth of the fragrance emerges. The top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it on can help capture the warmth of the base notes more effectively. This scent is best enjoyed in cooler weather when its powdery and woody elements come into their own.
