L'Eau d'Issey Lotus, launched in 2014 by Issey Miyake and crafted by perfumer Alberto Morillas, is a fragrance that marries the freshness of aquatic notes with the delicate elegance of white florals. The composition begins with watery and lotus notes, evoking a sense of purity and tranquility, before transitioning into a heart of hyacinth and jasmine sambac, adding layers of floral richness. The base notes of white musk and white woods provide a gentle warmth that rounds out the scent.
One or two sprays are sufficient as the watery top notes quickly give way to the floral heart. This fragrance blooms best when applied close to the skin, allowing it to develop its full character over time.
