The story behind the bottle.
L'Eau d'Issey Lumieres d'Issey by Issey Miyake was launched in 2002 and is a Floral fragrance for women. This composition opens with the brightness of mandarin orange and cassis, which introduces a fresh and vibrant energy. As it evolves, the scent reveals a heart of rose, pepper, and lily-of-the-valley, creating a delicate balance between spicy warmth and floral freshness. The base notes of tuberose and violet provide a soft, lingering finish that reads as both elegant and subtle.
Apply two sprays to the neck and wrists for a balanced effect. The mandarin and cassis top notes are lively but short-lived, so rely on the rose and pepper heart for sustained warmth throughout the day.
