L’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey, launched in 2018 by Issey Miyake and crafted by perfumers Aurélien Guichard and Fabrice Pellegrin, is a Woody Aquatic fragrance that embodies the brand's innovative spirit. The composition opens with bright citruses and clary sage, before transitioning to a heart of sea notes and rosemary that evoke a bracing coastal breeze. The base layers in cashmeran, patchouli, and smoky leather for warmth and depth, creating an interplay between freshness and earthy richness.
Apply this fragrance in thin layers — the marine top notes are vivid but fleeting. The smoky and woody base takes about an hour to fully bloom, so give it time to settle into your skin before adding more.
