The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1995 by Jo Malone London, Amber & Lavender was crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour to marry the fresh aromatic energy of lavender with the warm and enveloping quality of amber. The composition opens with a bright burst of bergamot and mint, punctuated by the sharp freshness of clove and cinnamon. This vibrant opening gives way to a heart of lavender and lily-of-the-valley, creating a serene yet engaging middle ground. As it settles into its base notes of patchouli and myrrh, Amber & Lavender transforms into an enveloping and comforting presence.
Apply a light mist to your pulse points and allow it to settle for a few minutes. The fresh spicy top notes will fade within an hour, but the base of amber and patchouli ensures that the scent remains close to your skin throughout the day.
