The story behind the bottle.
Sakura Cherry Blossom by Jo Malone London was launched in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel. This fragrance captures the essence of cherry blossom season with a bright, fresh opening of bergamot and mandarin orange that gives way to the delicate floral notes of cherry blossoms and rose. The heart is enriched with mimosa, adding a subtle sweetness, while the base notes of musk and woody accords provide a warm, powdery finish. Sakura Cherry Blossom is an ode to the fleeting beauty of spring, blending the crispness of citrus with the soft grace of floral notes.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points and left to settle into the skin for about five minutes. The top notes are delicate, so avoid layering heavily; a light spritz will allow the floral heart and base notes to shine through.
