Launched in 2010 by Versace, Versus is crafted by perfumer Nathalie Lorson and offers a vibrant contrast of fresh citrus and warm musk. The fragrance opens with the bright zest of kumquat and Amalfi lemon, which gives way to tropical fruits like star apple and African orange flower, creating an effervescent top layer. At its heart, Versus blends white florals such as stephanotis and tincture of rose, adding a delicate touch of sweetness. The base notes of musk, ambrette, and patchouli create a grounding warmth that anchors the composition.
