The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1993 by Sophia Grojsman for Kenzo, Kashaya is a fragrance that embodies the brand's signature blend of traditional elegance and modernity. The composition opens with bright, sunny fruits like peach, apricot, and pineapple, creating an immediate sense of warmth and brightness. This fruity freshness gives way to a heart of white florals such as ylang-ylang, tuberose, and jasmine, which are balanced by the subtle sweetness of vanilla and benzoin. The base notes of amber, sandalwood, and musk provide a grounding warmth that ties the entire fragrance together.
Kashaya has a long-lasting base that blooms gradually over time. Apply it to pulse points in the morning for a fragrance that evolves from fruity freshness to powdery warmth throughout the day.

As a child, in Belarus, this perfume queen-to-be would run around the garden smelling roses and jasmine, leaving her toys untouched, dismissed.
