The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2008 by perfumer Ilias Ermenidis, L'Eau par Kenzo Ice pour Femme is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of freshness and energy. The composition opens with mint and lemon, creating an invigorating burst of citrus-aromatic notes that feel like a cool splash on a hot day. Ginger adds a subtle spicy warmth that contrasts beautifully with the crispness of the opening. As the scent settles into its heart, freesia brings in floral softness, while vetiver and ambrette provide earthy depth and a touch of muskiness. The result is a fragrance that feels as vibrant and dynamic as Kenzo's signature style.
This fragrance is best applied in layers. Start with one spray on your wrists, then add another after five minutes for a balanced effect. The spicy ginger note can be quite pronounced initially, so it's important not to overapply. It pairs well with warm weather and daytime activities.
