The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Kenzo, Totem Blue is the collaborative effort of perfumers Antoine Lie and Jean Jacques. This aromatic fruity fragrance opens with bright citrus notes like lemon and orange, which are perfectly balanced by the sweetness of pineapple and apple. As it evolves, cardamom adds a warm spiciness that complements the woody undertones of cedar and coumarin, resulting in a composition that is both vibrant and grounded.
One or two sprays is enough for this fragrance. The bright top notes are fleeting but impactful, while the base notes of cedar and coumarin develop slowly over time. This makes it ideal for daytime wear when you want an initial burst of freshness that transitions into a warm, spicy finish.
