The story behind the bottle.
L'Amour by Lalique, launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Nathalie Lorson, is a floral woody musk fragrance that captures the essence of romantic elegance. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and neroli, which give way to a lush heart of rose, jasmine, gardenia, and tuberose. These florals are then enveloped by warm, powdery woods like sandalwood and cedar, creating an intimate and comforting finish.
Apply L'Amour in light layers — two sprays is sufficient. The citrus top notes are fleeting but vibrant, while the powdery musk and woody base notes take their time to develop on skin. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than across a room.
