The story behind the bottle.
Kypre by Lancôme was launched in 1935 and is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women, crafted by the renowned perfumer Armand Petitjean. This composition opens with a fruity plum note that contrasts beautifully with the powdery and earthy undertones of iris and violet. The heart of Egyptian jasmine and orris adds a touch of elegance, while the base notes of labdanum, sandalwood, and musk create a rich, warm foundation. Kypre is a proof of Lancôme's early commitment to creating sophisticated fragrances that blend floral and woody accords.
Apply Kypre to pulse points for a subtle warmth that gradually unfolds throughout the day. The fruity top notes are fleeting, so focus on allowing the rich base notes to linger. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than diffused through a room.
