Santal Kardamon by Lancôme, launched in 2018 and crafted by Amandine Clerc-Marie, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that marries the warmth of cardamom with the depth of sandalwood. The opening notes of pink pepper and mandarin orange create an aromatic brightness that contrasts beautifully with the rich leather and vanilla base. This composition feels like a modern interpretation of Lancôme’s heritage, blending traditional woody elements with contemporary spiciness.
For best effect, apply this fragrance in light layers. The aromatic top notes are fleeting but impactful, making a second application necessary after an hour or so to maintain its full character. It’s particularly suited for cooler evenings when the warmth of the base notes can be fully appreciated.
