The story behind the bottle.
Fortis by Les Liquides Imaginaires was launched in 2011, crafted by perfumer Sonia Constant as an Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with the warm spiciness of cumin and saffron before diving into a rich heart of agarwood (oud), guaiac wood, and vetiver. This blend creates a depth that is earthy yet luxurious, anchored by powdery notes of cedar and sandalwood, along with the subtle richness of ambergris and vanilla. The result is a scent that feels both ancient and contemporary, evoking the warmth and mystery of exotic woods.
Two sprays is enough — the warm spicy opening will capture attention initially, but it's the rich, woody base that lingers. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when its depth can fully unfold.
