Launched in 2016 by Loewe, Tardes de Domingo en el Hipódromo is a composition that captures the rich blend of an afternoon at the racetrack. The fragrance opens with fresh and warm spices like pepper, saffron, cardamom, and rose, creating a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. As it settles into its woody base notes of patchouli, amber, guaiac wood, sandalwood, vanilla, and tonka bean, the scent takes on an earthy, metallic depth that evokes the grandeur and excitement of the racing scene.
This fragrance has a strong presence from its top notes, so one or two sprays are sufficient to capture its full effect. The spicy and fresh elements fade after an hour, allowing the warm, woody base to take center stage. Best worn during cooler weather when the rich depth of the base can be fully appreciated.
