The story behind the bottle.
Akowa by M. Micallef was launched in 2015 and was crafted by the renowned perfumers Geoffrey Nejman and Jean-Claude Astier. The composition opens with a vibrant citrus-aromatic accord, which gives way to a warm base of cacao, musk, and amber, creating an intriguing contrast between freshness and depth. This woody-spicy fragrance seamlessly blends earthy undertones with white floral notes, resulting in a rich and complex scent that is both invigorating and comforting.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points and let it settle for a few minutes. The citrus notes are bright but brief, so they pair well with the deeper, lasting warmth of cacao and musk that emerges after an hour.
