The story behind the bottle.
GNTONIC by M. Micallef, launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumer Sidonie Grandperret, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of a refreshing tonic infused with botanicals. The composition opens with the invigorating blend of gin and tonic water, complemented by lime and peppermint, creating an initial burst of freshness. As it evolves, the warm spice notes of ginger and pink pepper are balanced by the earthy undertones of cypriol oil and moss, leading to a musky base that includes vetiver and sandalwood. This interplay between crispness and warmth makes GNTONIC a dynamic scent that feels both contemporary and grounded.
Apply GNTONIC to pulse points for maximum impact — the tonic water and lime notes are bright but fleeting. The warm spice and musky base will bloom over time, so it’s best applied in the morning or early afternoon when you have time to let its layers unfold.
