Jean-Claude Astier crafted Elegance by M. Micallef as an intricate floral fruity composition that balances powdery and sweet notes with a rich balsamic base. The fragrance opens with the juicy sweetness of peach, leading into a heart of rose, violet, and jasmine that creates a delicate yet enduring bouquet. The base notes of vanilla and balsam add warmth and depth, grounding the bright top notes without overpowering them.
One spray on each wrist and behind your ears is sufficient. The peach top note is bright but fades quickly into the heart notes, so it's best to let the fragrance develop for about five minutes before reapplying if needed. This composition reads better close to skin than from a distance.
