Ambre Chromatique by Maison Crivelli, launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch, weaves together an intricate blend of amber and balsamic notes with a smoky warmth that anchors the composition. The fragrance opens with incense and pink pepper, creating a striking contrast between the spicy sharpness and the earthy depth. This tension is further enhanced by osmanthus and davana, adding subtle fruity and floral nuances to the mix. At its core, Ambre Chromatique is a study in warmth and complexity, where vanilla and benzoin envelop the senses in a cocoon of richness.
Apply one to two sprays at pulse points — the top notes are bright but fade quickly, giving way to a rich base that develops over time. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than in a wide sillage.
