Launched in 2023 by Valentino and crafted by perfumers Amandine Clerc-Marie and Honorine Blanc, Valentino Donna Born In Roma Intense is an Oriental Floral fragrance that captures the essence of a warm embrace. The composition opens with bourbon vanilla, creating an immediate sense of comfort and sweetness, which then intertwines seamlessly with amber for a rich, enveloping warmth. A heart of jasmine adds a delicate floral touch, while benzoin provides a balsamic depth that rounds out the scent with a powdery, spicy finish.
Apply this fragrance with two light sprays to capture its full depth. The bourbon vanilla opens quickly but fades within an hour; the amber and benzoin bases take over for a long-lasting warmth that reads best close to skin rather than across a room.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
