The story behind the bottle.
Wicked Love by Maison Martin Margiela, launched in 2017 and crafted by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that defies traditional boundaries with its bold composition. The green bell pepper and basil open with an unexpected freshness, contrasting the aromatic water hyacinth and the floral notes of rose and Egyptian jasmine. Vetiver and cedar provide earthy undertones while white musk adds a sensual touch. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering, creating a complex interplay that keeps the senses engaged throughout the day.
Apply Wicked Love to pulse points for a lasting effect — the green bell pepper and basil top notes are fleeting but impactful. Allow at least five minutes for the scent to settle before reapplying if needed. This fragrance reads best close to skin, where its subtle nuances unfold gradually.
