The story behind the bottle.
Mancera's Musk of Flowers, launched in 2011 and crafted by Pierre Montale, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that weaves together the sweetness of sugar with the earthy warmth of sandalwood. The composition opens with fruity notes and grapefruit, creating an initial burst of freshness before settling into a heart of rose, jasmine, and orange blossom. This floral bouquet is then anchored by white musk, which lends a powdery, enveloping quality to the base. It's neither overwhelming nor understated but rather a harmonious blend that feels both familiar and comforting.
Apply one to two sprays on pulse points for a balanced wear. The fruity and citrus notes are bright but fade within an hour, so it's best to layer this fragrance throughout the day if you want to maintain its full character. It reads better close to skin rather than in open air.
