Tonka Cola by Mancera was launched in 2022 and quickly went viral on TikTok's fragrance community, largely due to its daring premise of blending the familiar aroma of Coca-Cola with rich tonka bean. Created by Pierre Montale, this Oriental Spicy scent combines warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg with a sweet cola accord that is both nostalgic and unexpected. The composition evolves from a bright citrus opening with Sicilian lemon to a heart of cherry and orange blossom before settling into a base of vanilla, benzoin, and labdanum, all anchored by the distinctive tonka bean. This fragrance has become an accessible 'niche' gourmand novelty scent, celebrated for its literal cola-soda accord that captures both the sweetness of childhood memories and the warmth of adult indulgence.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points — the cola accord is vibrant but fades within an hour. The base notes, however, linger much longer, offering a rich warmth that continues throughout the day.
